lovely words but what about their actions? The HSE put the head of the NGS in charge their trans research. Hillary Cass described the NGS as the 'gold standard' despite being ranked the worst in Europe. They've fluffed on hate speech, gender recognition & no ban on conversion practices yet either.

I can't say I've ever been a fan of the Minister, but she is making her mark, and I can't see her being bullied by anyone. This is such a welcome intervention and there is absolutely no arguing with it.

The response in the Dáil today by @simonharrisireland.bsky.social did not address the reality of disabled people’s lives. Disabled people in Ireland are facing documented extra costs, higher energy use, reduced income and constant gatekeeping.
