The wild thing is that this has been the standard practice of literally every facet of the online anime media. Outside of one or two large outlets like ANN and Crunchyroll, literally every anime/manga publication in North America is either journalist-run or worker-owned, and has been since 2006.

Kinda sucks that FB is overridden with a lot of AI pics and posts, which didn't help that a lot fell over it. It's even worse that some business establishments are using AI to make pictures. Though this is because a lot of people here are ignorant of how much damage Gen AI can do.

Maybe I should start reading the Ghost in the Shell manga given that the movie and TV adaptations are completely different from it.
