Can someone tell the folks at Kérastase this?
Cassidy: "If she goes and gets 2 types of shampoo & one is a dollar cheaper, she'll get the cheaper one & the other lowers their price. Once you give her the power of making the decision, she's gonna shop -- that begins to save her money and squeezes waste out of the healthcare system."

Mamdani: "We can respond to oligarchy and authoritarianism with the strength it fears, not the appeasement it craves. After all, if anyone can show a nation betrayed by Donald Trump how to defeat him, it is the city that gave rise to him."

If Mamdani wins I will leave New York. I will go live in one of the other 5 houses I have, perhaps the one in South Florida, or the one in Paris, or Napa, or Cabo, but I will definitely leave New York. I will keep my apartment, though, because it's awesome and New York is great. But I will leave.

Q: "Have you ever purchased anything in a Cannabis Shop?"
Mamdani: "I have purchased marijuana."
Cuomo: No.
Sliwa: "I was shot 5 times, I have Crohn's disease, I did use medical marijuana."

As you cancel streaming services, here is a casual reminder that only 16% of Americans read for pleasure anymore, and your local library has hundreds or thousands of books you haven't read.

They would love to see you stop by and renew your library card.

100% of people know Trump's signature on that disgusting birthday card is real, just as 100% of people knew that Christine Blasey Ford and Anita Hill were telling the truth. The right is a force for violent misogyny and the media is mired in terminal, nonsensical bothsides-ism. So here we are.

Get your war on.
Breaking news: President Trump is expected to rename the Defense Department to the Department of War through an executive order, a move that the administration has said more accurately reflects the mission of the men and women serving in uniform today.
Trump to rename Defense Department to War Department
Trump is expected to sign an executive order Friday, though it is unclear if he can permanently change the agency’s title without legislation from Congress.

SCOTUS is aiming to undo birthright citizenship and the VRA and keeps gutting the first amendment, while GOP is set to pass a bill that outlaws green energy and kills medicare, so Hakeem is ready to do what must be done: direct all fire at the charismatic leftist promising better through solidarity
Hakeem Jeffries on Mamdani: "'Globalizing the intifada' by way of example is not an acceptable phrasing. He's gonna have to clarify his position on that as he moves forward."

I know there are so many many things to be angry at Cuomo about, but don’t forget that under his leadership NY adopted the current EXCELSIOR license plate.

If I told you that one Democrat threatened to rip out the heart of another Democrat in the party room of a lobster house on Flatbush Ave where a cabal met to choose the slate of judges, you might think it was an episode of The Sopranos.
As someone who has worked in and around New York politics: I am urging everyone watching the NYC mayoral primary to calibrate their expectations. I would be over the moon if Mamdani won, but believe me when I say the NY Democratic Party is fucked in ways people not from NY cannot even imagine.

The trajectory of the NY mayoral race has made it ridiculously clear that the Dems are operating as (at least) two parties—the one that has the money and entrenched power, and the one that has the broad constituency and forward momentum—that aren't really even coalition partners

Pretty amazing that a former president will sit quietly as one of his successors orders US troops into American cities and ships innocent people off to concentration camps—but feels compelled to speak up when a fellow HR nightmare is at risk of losing to another member of the same party.
