I agree, the dialogue on his condition, which I share, is refreshing. And it really sucks, but a lot of people with his mental health struggles know, sometimes your apology for the havoc you wreak in madness isn't accepted. Some will never accept it. Some damage is forever. That's just how it is.
Of course, I think it’s amazing news that Kanye is accepting his mental health care needs, and is talking openly about his struggles with psychosis. That’s great. His and (all) children deserve the chance to experience with their parents and caretakers in their own optimal mental state of being.

His role is to undercut any movement and crush the energy. Did it in 2020, did it for the Gaza protests, and he’s going to do it again.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.

I give a ton of credit to people who actually change their opinions.

It's the people who are like "you were I suppose right about everything, but abolishing ICE? Now that kind of talk won't do and you need to stop it or we'll never get a Senate majority" that I have issue with.
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?

We are all drowning in a pool of systemic propaganda so I understand why the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti feel esp shocking and I think it is important to do the internal work of asking yourself, if this applies to you, why the deaths of immigrants/Black folks don't shock in the same way

Not at all. Winter still brings cold weather even as the planet warms.

In fact, warmer oceans + a rapidly warming Arctic can even increase the intensity of winter storms and heavy snowfall.
