Lucy White advocates a ban on "non-natives" from office, citing Rishi Sunak and Priti Patel.

So she is referring to UK-born ethnic minority citizens. (Her argument would apply equally to Shabana Mahmood, Kemi Badenoch, Suella Braverman and others)

The government is unable to give any statistical basis or evidence base for this "destination of choice" claim, beyond making the (different) claim that claims are going up in the UK and failing in the UK [while being higher in Germany, France, Spain and Italy]

The Home Secretary says "we have become the destination of choice in Europe, clearly visible to every people smuggler and would-be illegal migrant across the world"

That is a factually untrue claim: the Home Office shows that the UK is fifth, getting 1/10 claims, while Germany gets 1/5 claims

For the record, on Radio 4 yesterday Lars Løkke Rasmussen said he had some regrets about having introduced this law whilst Danish PM in 2016. Sounded like he was trying to distance himself from what Labour is doing now
The Sun has been told Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood will on Monday propose confiscating jewellery, watches, necklaces from asylum seekers to meet asylum costs

This reflects the most controversial aspect of the Danish scheme - the Jewellery Law. The toughest Labour MPs thought this was OTT

Absolutely. An iron law of whether a statement about immigrants is true is that it should also apply if you just use the word “people”. (A test that many claims on the liberal side also fail!)
It's the logical end point of the duhumanisation of asylum seekers. They're not seen as people with agency, but as problems other countries / nefarious forces are dumping on us
