Grateful that Julie is taking on Hick.
I’m running for the U.S. Senate so the people who built Colorado can take back control of our healthcare, our homes, and our futures.
Working people built Colorado, we deserve a government that finally works for us.

It seems totally bananas to me that our society is comfortable with this combustible gas just running beneath us at all times, especially when safe, effective electric options for heating are available. www.dailycamera.com/2025/12/04/g...
Dacono home exploded after a contractor broke a nearby active gas line
The explosion that destroyed a couple’s Dacono mobile home on Tuesday was caused when a contractor hit a gas line while boring for fiber optic lines, causing a leak.

Look we do need a National Laboratory of the Rockies (to figure out why the Rockies have been so bad for so long), but renaming NREL is so so stupid. www.denverpost.com/2025/12/01/n...
Trump administration renames Colorado’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Federal officials on Monday renamed the National Renewable Energy Laboratory — which is headquartered in Golden — and removed any mention of renewable energy.

Senators coming out against Rubio (who basically confirmed him as SoS unanimously) seems like a big deal.
Van Hollen: "It's either murder from the first strike if their whole theory is wrong, and I think the weight of the legal opinion is they've concocted this ridiculous legal theory. But even if you accept it, then it is a war crime. I do believe the secretary of defense should be held accountable"

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

“(CU) has definitely been repressing student activists, which is already in itself a horrible thing for them to do … but repressing journalists is a new low for them, honestly.”

Agreed.

Anyone on #greensky have some analysis of the GHG impact of new drive thru restaurants? Can't wait for my community to be polluted by 45-minute lines of idling vehicles waiting for an overrated animal-style burger.

I mean this is nakedly bad faith and connecting dots that don’t exist by and not understanding or lying about the powers granted to different offices.

A senator could ostensibly vote for a universal healthcare bill.

A state governor cannot create that same coverage via dictate.
Corruption right in front of your eyes:

1) Bennet says he wants universal healthcare.

2) DaVita drops $50K into his Super PAC.

3) Suddenly Bennet claims he “can’t do anything” on healthcare as Governor.

This is what bought-and-paid-for politics looks like.

THEY PEPPER SPRAYED A BABY

THEY PEPPER SPRAYED A BABY

Please read this entire excellent piece by Caroline, which points out that a judge ordered the Feds (again) to stop doing **this exact kind of thing** and they are still continuing to do it all over Chicago
Arianna Sofia Veraza and her parents were driving to Sam's Club for milk, eggs and diapers yesterday when they heard helicopters and horns blaring yesterday. They had turned around to leave when a federal agent pepper-sprayed them through a car window.

Struggling to picture how all this ends… prediction:
1. GOP reneges; health care costs skyrocket
2. People abandon ACA market coverage, have no insurance
3. Loss of paying customers causes rates to go up for everyone
4. Health care goes back to being only for the rich, young, healthy
5. People die

Will be interesting to see just how bad Bennet wants to be governor…
The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.
