Never have I ever agreed with a reply (at least not in a while). I have blocked people who yell at others like the one replying to OP's art, but alt txt is something we all should do, even if we don't instantly understand why.

this person was a dick but I do agree that alt text is important so I'd like to offer tips:
first, there's an accessibility setting right in bsky that can remind you to add alt text.
