Appeasement didn’t work in the 1930s. Why should anybody imagine it will succeed in the 2020s? Trump needs a sharp reminder that Europe stands together. One effective way would be for all their football teams to withdraw from the World Cup. The tournament would lose any credibility in that case!

When I agreed to come on the show, I was told Nigel Farage was also doing it.

Just a quick word in commute on our players: We have a good squad of very, very good players. They’re clearly frustrated and catching strays from fans, but most of these players have already proven success at the highest levels. They’re are not well coached and organized.
