ngl it infuriates me internally whenever I experience this generation gap.
Idk, this apathy may be them aging, or not keeping up, or socio-economical privilege & bias?
I really hope that when I eventually reach the old hag form, I won't be as inconsiderate towards the youth.

The thing about AI being adopted by some older animation workers is that they don’t have to care how it effects younger workers, like how badly skewed the work/life balance is or how stagnant the pay has been for greener workers, basically anything that a strike the past two times would have helped

I went on an indefinite break from VRChat world creation back in May, with the intention to explore other platforms/options.
I won't be returning to VRC as a world creator anymore, the break from it is now permanent.

Been working on this giant illustration for the last 3 months now. I uh might have bitten off more than I am actually capable of actually doing with my current skill level. I realize now how old masters could spend years on a single big piece. I love it but also it’s crushing me.
Do you guys ever look at a drawing in progress and simply feel so overwhelmed by the amount of work left that it paralyzes you?
Anyways I'm 65 hours into a piece and have not yet completed the drawing step. Realizing there is a reason I put this idea off for 11 years 🙃

Hope folks are having a good weekend so far, certainly hope it was better than my start. While I did get to my 1st #VRchat event of the weekend, rather annoyingly, my exhaustion would fuck things over for me. I had to go place myself in the pic area in case I passed out, which I did.

The weekend #vrc adventures started with a blast at stafare's Spicywater night. We all got a nice surprise when she joined, so great to see her
