If I miss anything from my former religious life, it's the book of Ecclesiastes.
The last year has me feeling very, "everything is meaningless."
Very, "For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;
the more knowledge, the more grief."
So I guess it's time to "eat, drink and be merry" anyway.

Seeing Outkast and The White Stripes inducted in the RR HoF gave me nostalgia for a better time. I know the early 2000s had serious issues, but the future seemed more hopeful then. (And had amazing music.)

when I was young, i used to wonder how people like this would fare in life, as they didn't seem suited for gainful employment. it turns out, the internet allowed them to accumulate a massive audience of similar idiots, enriching them and turning them into a presidential advisor
