-- WEEK 12 #NFL 🏈 Playoff Leverage --

Here you can see

1.) how the playoff probability of each team changes depending on whether they win or lose the next game, and
2.) the combined playoff leverage of the teams involved in each game, sorted by kickoff time.

I tried to replicate a model in pymc originally made with brms/stan. Got stuck.

Out of despair, spent a week trapped in AI hell hoping for the best. What finally worked was taking a morning to reproduce a simple model available in the docs (duh). Why do I always have to learn the hard way?

I'll go first: I work in untitled files in the wrong project directories all the time. Like, all the time. Yes, I do tend to lose things 😂 #databs #rstats #python

Spoiler alert: DK Metcalf displays straight-line, less agile movement, while George Pickens exhibits erratic, more variable directional movement.

Can see the valley that Arizona comes out of around the midway mark of the season. They do trend down a bit after that, but they had a great stretch there specifically against the Bears, Jets, and Seahawks.
