On NPR on Friday, there was a story of a 4-year-old--an American citizen--who hasn't left her house since early December, not even to play in the yard. And her 8-year-old brother recently stopped going to school, too. Their father is undocumented, and the family doesn't want to risk him being taken.

SEEING IS BELIEVING

DHS claims the car being chased rammed the ICE vehicle. The video shows the opposite.

📌 A father and son, a US citizen, are chased. The teen is beaten and seriously injured. The father is deported.

DHS lied. The video tells the truth. Excellent reporting by Antonia Hylton.

A Super Bowl, move to Indiana or the end of the world. All a possibility
The devotion of longtime Chicago Bears fans was on full display Sunday afternoon as they steeled their nerves ahead of a decisive playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams and celebrated a surprising winning season outside Soldier Field.
Bears fans pledge undying support: The Super Bowl, the end of the world, even Indiana. ‘We’ll follow them there, everywhere’
Whatever the future holds for the Bears, fans say they will follow.

the 2000s and 2010s were full of people in the entertainment world being rightly fired for saying things that pale in comparison to what comes from prominent Republicans today and the main difference is that major national news media have accepted "Republicans are racist" as no longer newsworthy
the racism coming from the entire conservative movement targeting the somali community is so goddam disgusting and its just being completely ignored

Love to see it
ICE agent recognized out Christmas shopping—throws tantrum when citizens profile him.

"We're trying to prevent you from kidnapping our neighbors," they say.

"I'm not doing anything but walking, leave me alone!" he yells.

"Not right now you're not—but the past 5 days you have."

Wow, that must be so terrifying to think you're being abducted.
The agent, who’s assigned to another HSI office and is in Minnesota on “temporary detail for an operation,” is unfamiliar with the Twin Cities, did not know where they were going, and “was in fear that he was being abducted.”
