Been covering the iconic Newport Folk Festival & Newport Jazz Festival every year since 2012 as a journalist and photographer.

On Thursday, November 27, and Friday, November 28, the Alexandria Police Department will suspend enforcement of parking restrictions at all metered spaces and residential permit parking districts throughout the City of Alexandria.

Don't be surprised! Roadways in Del Ray (and Rosemont) will be closed on Thursday, November 27, for the 50th annual Del Ray Turkey Trot. Road closures will be in effect from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Plan ahead and obey all no parking signs!
