Just rolling along, navigating the injustices of being a Scotland rugby tragic.
Am I so out of touch with "modern" music that 2 artists are scheduled to play at Murrayfield next year that I have never even heard of? Zach Bryan and Luke Combs (both US country singers I am reliably informed) filling UK stadiums? Jeez I must be old.

Should have started 9-15 Horne, TJ, Rowe, Sione, Stafford, Steyn, Smith and just let the Glasgow boys play.

Sounds ridiculous to say, after beating a team 56-0, but I didn’t feel that was a particularly good performance. It was a potentially exciting team but the back line never really clicked. 36 minutes without scoring again. On the plus side though, Ashman has really upped his game this autumn.

Reasonable first half against Tonga but Burke definitely a big step down from Finn. Good to see Duhi catch a couple of up and unders though and Zander is loving being back.

So, err, we gonna be back to battling Italy for the old wooden spoon then, is it?

Did NZ peak for Scotland?

It's amazing how many people who advised strongly against Brexit and who were then also calling out the bullshit around COVID are now being proved right. It's almost as though, as opposed to having "had enough of" them, as Michael Gove once said, we should actually probably listen to, the experts.

Watching The Grudge on Discovery+ and was amazed to see Darcy Rae lining up for England alongside Brian Moore in 1990. Helluva career.

Holy shit I didn’t realise it was this bad.

I think he’s been a good coach and has brought the team on impressively. But every team needs fresh impetus, at the latest every 4-5 years, because things get stale, voices and messages heard a million times before. It’s time to install Franco Smith while he still has time to prepare for RWC.

Blaming Finn for that loss is ridiculous. Finn did what Finn does a million times a season, better than anyone else in the game. He normally fizzes it directly into someone’s hands and no it didn’t work this time, but what followed was not his fault.

Same. And same.
Never normally get on this bandwagon, but toonie has to go now.

Shameful

Wow!
Australia's 14th international since the start of July, counting the Lions.

No wonder they were there for the taking.

Not sure I can cope with England being good at rugby again.

Same team then for Argentina, with Darge and Fagerson swapping starting role/bench role. Interesting to see DVDM on a 5-3 bench though. Not sure about that one, wasn’t aware he covered anything but wing 🤷🏻‍♂️

They market their cars as weapons and we allow them on the same roads as children cycling to school.

And I still get weird middle-aged men in my notifications obfuscating for and defending this.

This is not a serious society.

One thing I’d love to see Finn Russell improve on is getting more distance on his touch kicks after a penalty. His loose play kicking is brilliant, but when he kicks to touch after a penalty, I think he is far too safe. The line-outs are often much further away from the 5m line than they could be.

I know it’s definitely not a sign and I definitely won’t believe it but I got Wordle in 1 today and I’ve definitely never done that before and it definitely doesn’t mean Scotland and going to beat the All Blacks. Definitely not.

P laying tier 2 nations is very nice of us but if Wales can get both SA and NZ in the autumn internationals, why can’t we?
Only 2 matches vs ABs in last 11 years is a joke btw. New nations league will fix that but we have to play them more often if we want a chance to beat them.

British Airways just announced they’re going to be using Musk’s satellites for onboard fast WiFi. I hardly ever use them these days anyway but I certainly won’t be in the future now either. Very self-righteous but I despise the man and everything his lot stand for.
"World's first potential trillionaire has killed 600,000 people, including 400,000 children" is the only headline that anyone should ever read about Elon Musk
One analytical model shows that, as of November 5th, the dismantling of U.S.A.I.D. has already caused the deaths of 600,000 people, two-thirds of them children. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jUzNSc

Kinda gutted for Ritchie and AOC too.

WTF is wrong with Zander anyway? He’s been out for yonks, surely calves don’t take that long to heal? (Heifer could probably grow a calf in the length of time he’s been out. Badoom.)

Anyone want these?

Murrayfield not open yet btw. 3.10pm now. The staff don’t know why, they were supposed to open at 2.40.

Hat trick today for Darcy, Duhan or both?
