This just reminded me RotK I saw in theaters 5 times. That seemed like the last simple time of my life. Never put together why LotR meant so much to me. Met my first girlfriend on a forum dedicated to arachnids on a thread discussing Shelob. Think I need to take a walk and listen to the soundtrack.
every year on the 17th December i remember the Lord of the Rings cinematic release days, it was always this sort of time, they were genuinely a great time in my life.

My wife wanted to make Turkey for the first time. I've cooked the last 11 years and do the day to day cooking. So I was bored and playing with my camera and some lenses. This weirdly symbolic pic came out and I am in love with it.

Wanting to get my first jumping spider. Haven't had an arachnid or reptile since I was much younger. Put together this wonderful cage I loved the look of. Noticed the temp and humidity seemed off. Decided to wait on getting a spider and let the cage sit a week. Mold. Back the drawing board

Dear SWTOR players I just took the name "Horribilis" how has no one chosen to be Darth Horrible/awful before? All my characters are named after bears, I wasnt expecting it to even pass. I didn't even know I could be disappointed in Star Wars fans anymore but God damn.

I will never not love illustrations of animals. Feel like RPGs and Monster Hunter could have animal designs for years if they just wandered through an old library dedicated to natural history.
