No jackass, they used to fucking mark down these consoles. The PS3 launched at $599 US Dollars and five years later I got mine for about $300.
Five years ago the PS5 launched around $500 and without the current holiday sales it's $550 with the disc drive.
This is stupid.

What’s ‘fun’ is that the bill says it is to prevent “genital mutilation and chemical castration of minors”

Except intersex ones. The bill dedicates 2 exemptions to allow that for people like me. They don’t even shy away from calling it mutilation.

There are times I find myself worrying that people will attempt to interpret stories or novels about my last life once we publish them
As far as I am concerned I am not writing fiction but rather dramatized history. From my perspective, these events actually occurred.
