I am not giving any endorsement of these churches, but... well done 👏 we need much more of this.
UPDATE: Another Chicago-area church has put up an immigration-themed Nativity scene.

A church member at Urban Village Church sent this one along, where Mary, Joseph and Jesus are gone and replaced with a sign that reads: “Due to ICE activity in our community, the Holy Family is in hiding.”

then, the transphobes , feeling victorious at how many people they have made unhappy and despairing in the previous week, move on to anything else that has a spectrum and the possibility of more colours than they can conceive - such hateful people - they cannot understand anything that is not THEM

Hey need help for a video. Do you know any short scenes from movies where characters say something along the lines of "my child is going to be better then me." Think like Yoda in The Last Jedi saying "we are what they grow beyond".

I know so many great people who are doing so much. If you are isolated from people who are trying their best, I can understand feeling like no one's doing anything, but really, you just need to find the people who are trying and try with them — or maybe encourage some new folks to try alongside you.

Protecting people is gonna make you mean right now .

GOOD

Someone whose asking you to be “nice” is asking for control

You don’t have to give it to them .

People need kindness and measured responses .. and they don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt

People should SAY what they love

Found a box of 5.25 floppy's in the class closet next to our usual edutainment Apple 2 games. One of them had the original Castle Wolfenstein on it, which was neat, but another one had very simple ASCII art of nude women.
This of course was at a Catholic School.
What was your first adult/NSFW video game encounter?

Do you have a funny story, or remember a playground rumor?

My answer:

Overhearing my older brothers and cousins talking about a way to remove the nudity censor from first Sims game on PC. My young eyes couldn't believe it when I finally saw.

It’s never been more important to be able to figure out who your actual allies are instead of the people who can make content you’re willing to hit the like button on. Your enemies will try to present themselves as your friends and tell you your friends are your enemies.
Nick Fuentes has been working overtime to sanitize his image and present himself as a uniter of the left and right. Very clearly using language often associated with the left.

This is part of a larger effort by the anti-Zionist antisemitic far right to recruit people on the left.
