![Which is to say: what Manfred said on Sunday was part of the owners' labor agenda. As will almost anything else he says over the next year. Manfred wants us to play the "ooh, wouldn't it be neat if [City] had a team and if this crazy but fun radical realignment scheme happened?" game so that when the players balk they will get blowback from the press and from fans who will believe that, if not for the greedy players, we could have so many cool new things.
I'm not really all that interested in doing that. At least not now. He can get back to me when the overtures are genuine.
