Since the start of the ceasefire on 10 October 2025, 280 Palestinians have been killed, the Ministry of Health reported, according to @unocha.org on 20 November.

We need to understand the 21st century as a window of atrocity. The right vastly expands what is permissible, and the centrists lock it in and legitimise it so that the right can expand the window ever further. I don’t see how any reasonable person can deny this is what has happened.

Taxes to do not pay for public services. Govt money creation, principally via issuing of bonds, does. But, putting aside that lie, I would willingly pay more tax for better public services. If people in Scottish constituencies are going to vote in unionist parties they should at least have enough principles to refuse free prescriptions, eye tests, tuition fees, personal care, etc, etc. otherwise that choice seems very hypocritical.
