In 2024, the Coast Guard conducted more than 250 targeted interceptions in the Caribbean of boats believed to be transporting drugs based on intel. Only 55 were actually transporting drugs; the rest (80%) were innocent.

I grew up on all those US TV shows featuring holier-than-thou young lawyers crowing about the sacrosanct nature of the US Constitution.

Let's not forget that Trump has always treated Ukraine this way. Remember when he demanded they drum up some "evidence" against the Bidens as a condition of receiving military aid that had already been sanctioned by Congress.
