Ideologically, I’ve been anti-violence most—if not all—of my life. However, I’m becoming more and more convinced that in the case where you have groups of people loudly advocating for policies to remove basic human rights from people on the basis of protected attributes, it can be necessary. (1/2)

It strikes me as incongruous that English racists in particular should attack Muslims.

I live in #Oldcastle, Co Meath. While the usual racist dickheads are spouting off about the racist “protest” here on 24th Sept, a significant majority of the people who protested were not from Oldcastle. There were cars from outside the town clogging up the whole town, as well as at least one bus.
