They would vote based on a “promise” by a party that takes orders from a felon? My god… any one of them voting for this, who aren’t retiring, need to be fired in their next election. Did Tuesday’s election mean nothing?????

Any news outlet that isn't leading with the regiime's declaration of civil war is complicit in whatever is about to happen.

An unprecedented violation of our civic and Constitutional traditions. Calling every military leader in the world back to the U.S. to hear a wildly inappropriate partisan campaign speech followed by a fascist call to use the military against Americans.

God I love America, where someone talks about how their 67yo mom only has two years of living expenses saved, and the thread is full of people saying that only option is the mom has to keep working.

THIS IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION.

@washingtonpost.com does it violate legal procedures or not? This doesn't seem like a hard question.

The more I think about how absolutely impotent the Democratic party was in the post-election period, the more I realize that the Democratic party is not part of the opposition. Individual members, sure. But a party that is this absolutely derelict in the moment deserves no favor.

President Trump has personally ordered the Justice Department to open an investigation of Democrats' primary ways for raising donations.

It is the third time he has personally ordered an open-ended criminal investigation, each against a perceived political foe.

Dear Dems: Polling shows only *generalized* approval of Trump on immigration, but broad opposition to the lawless specifics. If you don't engage on Abrego Garcia and other illegal kidnappings, you only *help* Trump subsume all that under "keeping out illegals."
