Ross is one of the most gloriously British and wonderful people. Enjoyed this talk.
Oh, yay! I didn’t think my LoopConf talk recording was going to be free to watch. But it’s out on YouTube.

This was an epic labour of love. I’m so glad I can share it with you.

My 25 Lessons from 25 years of software development in (a little over) 25 minutes.

Got to the part of "temperature" and I'm aware that a higher temperature == less predictable but never knew why.

Turns out it's very simple. Before the "score" for a set of tokens is turned into a probability distribution it's divided by the temperature. Higher values "flatten" the distribution.

The latest release of Inertia brings support for View Transitions! 🔥

The View Transitions API is a browser feature that lets you animate between pages. It can be a simple cross-fade, and you can even animate specific elements from one page to the next.

A couple of things that stand out:

1. The fact that 1.5% of New Yorkers fund 33% of the budget tells you inequality is out of control.

2. Kathy actually mentions not being able to make up the diff in taxing the middle class more. As if that's a consideration but taxing the wealthy more isn't.
Will New York Gov. Kathy Hochul tax the rich?

In writing this I learned that my boss, @joelhans.com, loves desert tortoises and has one as a pet. I leaned into this.

I’ve noticed a real slow down of engagement on here. Pity. We need a sane place for exchanging information and staying up to date.

I don’t normally comment on these sorts of posts, but “never worked a day in her life”? Seriously? 😮‍💨

I’m a husband & father & I feel insulted for her. Hers is a INFINITELY more challenging role with a TON more work & NONE of the glamour.

Really happy with the response on the <InfiniteScroll> component we released in Inertia 2.2! Here are some other new features that were merged along the way 🚀

You can now access the Progress Bar API! It's the exact same API that Inertia uses under the hood 📊

Inertia 2.2 is here and it ships with a new <InfiniteScroll> component! If you've ever built infinite scrolling by hand, you know what a timesaver this is.

We worked hard sweating the details to make this super smooth and easy to implement
