Software developer since 1981. Technical director and co-founder of resrequest.com. Excited about the utility of AI and LLMs. Building with the VILT (VueJs, InertiaJS, Laravel and Tailwind) stack.
My takeaways.

1. Too little far too late. How did it take this long???
2. 5 bishops are just fine with what’s going on? 🤬
3. 3 are cowards.

I’m sure it wasn’t. And it’s going back there fast.

This is telling,

“Since 2019, the share of Americans who tried dashing was fewer than 1 in 200 — that number is about 1 in 15 over the years since. Half of Dashers balance other jobs in fields like health care, retail, or education…”.

When two family incomes is no longer enough, you need four.

Taking in intravenously? 🤷‍♂️

A million seconds is 11.5 days
A billion seconds is 31.7 years
A trillion seconds is 31,709 years

Or put another way,

A million seconds is less that two weeks
A lifetime is two and a half billion seconds
A trillion seconds ago we were cave dwellers and the neanderthals had barely gone extinct

Women and diverse is going to drive the MAGAts nuts. Gotta love it!!

I’ve long been of the opinion we should just put women in charge. Period.

I like it very much. I’m a dark these person and I approve. 🤷‍♂️😉

Yeah Mike, don't threaten people with a good time.
November 4, 2025 at 11:29 AM
Yup. I'm now building features multiple times faster than I used to and I'm pretty much down to writing zero code by hand.

Time to implement Keynes’ vision from 1930 where we would be working 15 hour weeks by 2030.
November 2, 2025 at 7:48 AM
Keynes predicted in 1930 that technology would have us working 15 hour weeks by 2030.

Time to shift perspective and lean in to technology doing the busy work, freeing up all humans to live like the 0.1%.

1. That 1.5% fund 33% tells you inequality is out of control.

2. Would 2% extra really make enough move that overall revenue would go down? Doubtful.

3. Number 2 doesn't matter. Tax has to be more equitable and inequality needs to be addressed.

And 3, the fact that the wealthy, who can afford to pay more with no ill effect, would rather leave than support the poor, is exactly the problem with a late-stage capitalist system.

That’s my plan too. Genuine ones are going to get harder to come by (I’m sure they are already), and while I’m tempted each time someone makes a clone, that seems kind of pointless.

I absolutely loved my ZX Spectrum. I still miss it more than 40 years later.

This the key point the anti AI crowd miss. I’m also loving how fast Claude Code lets me ideate and bring these concepts to working prototype stage in a fraction of the time.

Your electoral college system has ensured it hasn’t been a functioning democracy for some time.

Although I’ll give you that the descent into fascism is a new twist I didn’t see coming.

For those of us watching the US train wreck from a distance, this is not news. 🤷‍♂️
