One of the most heavily-promoted Formula 1 races of the year yet shocking to see on Live TV that there are Marshalls on track while the cars are coming up to Turn 1 at some speed, is not a great look at all. What a lack of communication, my goodness. #F1 #LasVegasGP

Went to a small Arts & Crafts place in Covent Garden this evening called 'Brush & Bubbles', that teaches you how to paint cool landscapes (with prosecco!) Highly recommended that's a bit different with friends/or for a date - My one turned out a bit decent, even if paint went all over my shirt 😂🎨

I was going to go to bed, but when GoldenEye is on TV I have to stay up to watch it. 🍿 Definitely one of the better James Bond films, and such a significant film of the 90s, a classic

Watching Splinter Cell Deathwatch on Netflix and it's really, really good - Proper action/thriller with a decent plot - and I'm someone who was is massive fan of the games too. One episode in and eager to keep watching 👏 #SplinterCell

Took part in the London Royal Parks Half Marathon today - Running in & around Hyde Park, St. James Park & Green Park - Honestly so much fun with thousands of supporters for loads of different charities, really moving stuff (Didn't make me go faster though!) 😂🏃

Playing Battlefield 6 and pleased at how good it is actually - Really tight gameplay with great clever level/map designs, with no major glitches/issues, which after the Battlefield 2042 debacle years ago, is good to see for once. Although I'm still rubbish at multiplayer shooters! 😂🎮 #Battlefield6

Anyone into immersive art exhibitions in London can't go wrong with 'Frameless' in Marble Arch - I went to it last night, cool displays, a ton of fun and very interactive too - Highly recommend it

Went to an improv comedy show for the first time last night (near London Bridge) and my cheeks still hurt from so much laughing, really good fun. Small intimate shows always the best.

Playing a classic this evening The original Metal Gear Solid - This Intro still gives me chills, such a great cinematic game 😁 #MetalGearSolid #NowPlaying

Lime Bikes everywhere this morning - London is almost like Amsterdam with the amount of cyclists out and about #TubeStrike

I'm a bit torn about how I feel about the London Tube Strike - It's massively inconvenient, but on the other hand it's good to see Unions fight for the well-being of workers #TubeStrike

The Italian National Anthem is so powerful. Should be an exciting #ItalianGP today... #F1

A rare productive Sunday for me - Up early for a 10Km run at Wembley, fun event organised by ASICS with thousands of runners - Now off to the Notting Hill Carnival...🏃🏅🎉 #RunChat #UKRunChat

Currently reading 'A Big Life in Advertising', great read so far - She recalls working at Polaroid & a Live TV skit with Steve Martin where film rolls gushes out: "Booboos often sell better than perfection... they humanize products & make people care about them" Wish we saw more of that nowadays!

A nice, cool evening for a Run in SW London, passing through the fully-open Fulham Pier too which looks great. Worst thing about running along the River though is the amount of Pubs, very hard to not be tempted to stop in for a pit-stop beer... 🏃 #UKRunChat #RunChat

I don't post much about Food, but went to Koya in Soho for lunch and had this absolutely banging Donburi (Rice bowl with vegetables, chicken, eggs and spices) with some Miso soup - tastes as good as it looks! 😋 #Foodsky

I don't follow Football/the Premier League that closely (although I would watch it when it's on in the Pub) but can't help but feel the stranglehold Sky has over it now, that and other broadcasters (TNT) making it harder & expensive to watch sports

I seem to be doing this a lot on LinkedIn (a.k.a. The business cosplay networking site) at the moment for some characters who are peddling awful 'solutions'...

Watching WWE for the first time in a while and can't believe how many sponsors and logos they've crammed into the show - The broadcast, the ring, and even on the tables!? 😂 #WWE #Summerslam

Lots of Ads running for Coinbase, now that they're authorised to run in the UK, at different Tube stations, playing into the whole cost-of-living situation (whereas one big Ad I saw at Waterloo just had their Logo on repeat) No Disclaimers on the Ads though, which is odd given how volatile Crypto is
August 4, 2025 at 8:00 AM
I do like it when Ads for relatively standard Products are framed as Movie posters - It's cheesy, but really like it #AdSpotting

My yearly trip to West London's Ealing Beer Festival this evening didn't disappoint again. Such a lovely, community-feel event, and tons of Beers and Ciders to try out, which is the real fun! A highlight of my year. 🍻 @camraofficial.bsky.social
