It's not a writing class, so prof was prob less prepped to give a solid rhetorical critique, but I get stuck on the q of why study a science if you don't believe in the science.

It's a fun movie but more Goosebumps than meaningful thriller. The varying perspective structure could explore interesting angles of trauma and interpretation but nah....we get one dream that I guess is supposed to imply a school shooter allegory.

Also kudos to the writers for making much of the plot hinge almost exclusively on a lazy, incurious, only nominally present police force that'd rather chase junkies than figure out wtf is going on in that kid's house.
