This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

“.. How will it be when we will miss JoAnn’s clear voice — quiet, insistent, regular, and respectful — about the new and daily injustices being perpetrated on already-suffering people?” Sister Susan Sanders, president of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, said in a statement.

Sister JoAnn Persch served with the Sisters of Mercy for 73 years. On Nov. 1, Sister JoAnn was among the delegation denied entry to the Broadview ICE facility when they attempted to bring Communion to those detained inside.

In Northeastern Iowa, Lutherans proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, read the Bible, and feed the hungry, heal the sick, and welcome the migrant.

We are not in the bullseye of Trump/Miller tactics because of Gov Reynolds’ red state shield of food producers.

We are caring for thousands.
Since January, a dynamic has emerged:

Yeah. That’s my rep who is running for senate.
"Cost transparency" is, apparently, the new euphemism for farm payouts.

It's like "Lobachevsky," the Tom Lehrer song about plagiarism. "Only call it please 'research.'"
Rep. Ashley Hinson on a bailout for farmers: "I'm pleased to hear that the administration acknowledges the struggles our farmers are facing and will be focused on this bridge. We need this bridge, these payments to go out to our folks so they can continue to operate."
