It was level 9 in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 when in the temple (or pyramid?), when the lights go out, the ghosts grow horns and their eyes look evil. That scared the living crap out of me! (I didn't play the game. I just watched my brother play. When that level came, I saw myself out!)
