I’m more soul and funk than I am punk and metal. But the Americana/folk artists I gravitate towards tend to have more in common with Sierra Ferrell than Jesse effing Welles (who I maintain is a poser). It’s partly due to the politics - ie they have some. But this article suggested another reason:

They don't care, they only have to appeal to their base to retain power. They believe they have successfully rigged the system such that the executive branch holds all the power, and that a Republican will be sworn in on January 20th, 2029 regardless of how people vote.

This dueling orders elements seems to also have been at play with Good - one agent saying "Get out of here!" and one saying "Get out of the car" while trying to open the door.
It's a recipe for disaster that happens a LOT so it is, perhaps, a feature rather than a bug.
