BREAKING

Trump DOJ must give files unconstitutionally taken from the devices of Comey’s ex-legal adviser Daniel Richman back to him, a federal judge rules.

It’s the evidence at the center of Comey’s case.

WOW. @haleaziz.bsky.social with a new scoop: ICE now gets a running list of every person who is going to be taking a domestic flight inside the United States from the TSA and runs it through their database looking for targets. This explains the Babson College student's arrest.

TRUMP: Don't make it sound so bad. Obviously you're a sycophant for Democrats. You're obviously a provider of bad news for Republicans.

The GOP isn't likely to lose many Trump+18 districts, but their incumbents in safe seats *really* don't want to have to run tough races & win by close margins.

Indiana Republicans outside of Indianapolis were also opposed to 4 districts electing Republicans from the city & none from rural areas
I think we know who to thank for the failure of Trump's effort to bully Indiana Republicans into passing a new gerrymander: Aftyn Behn, Eric Gisler, and every Democrat who's run in a special election this year.

The GOP saw all these overperformances, and they were right to be scared.

Agree, very likely they did this with no paper trails. Possible they even did it over Signal. But usually there's at least something in the record you can get with FOIA.
My bet is Blanche or Ensign or some other ghoul called Taylor directly. There may be no emails. (Then again, these aren't very bright guys.) If there's any plausible way she can do it, Xinis should drag Taylor into court.
Anyway, a very good FOIA to file this morning would be for all emails and calls received in the last 24 hours by the immigration “judge” who issued the order.

It is not! A “scrivener’s error” is for things like fixing typos or very minor non-material errors, not retroactively adding a deportation order that doesn’t current exist!
Is "correcting" a previous order like this a real thing?

WOW; a DEEPLY corrupt move by the immigration courts; clear collaboration with Trump admin officials to produce a specific result with zero notice to the party and ALSO in a situation where the judge facially lacks jurisdiction; the judge had denied a motion to reopen and the case is on appeal.
Judge Xinis ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release in part bc ICE could not produce a final “order of removal” to deport him. So last night, they went out and got an immigration judge to issue one.
