Marvels, and then Kingdom Come, finally convinced me to actually love big 2 cape books. I was really a Vertigo kid. I did love the x-men but wasn't very interested in supes until Marvels hit me like a bullet.

Artists use the knowledge they have gained to tweak the rules to their own liking and to make their artpiece beautiful. Use others for inspiration but not as teachers, learn from real life

As a fairly experienced and middle aged software engineer, this advice “sounds right” to juniors but it’s wrong and it needs to stop being suggested
if I could go back in time and give myself advice when I was a fresh grad working his first real programming job, it'd be: stop eating spiders.

How do the children these days find friends? When I was young, you liked someone's style or they were new and you asked them what radio station they listened to. Is there an immediate equivalent to determine if you're gonna be friends for the next 12 odd years for Gen Alpha?
