it bristles me when people are like "people still buy and read books these days? I can't believe it"

just because you stopped reading and just kept on doomscrolling didn't mean the rest of us did, too.

Now he’s running his own barbecue spot in Waco: “I feel better than I ever have.”

Sinners, a film about how Black people fought to survive and thrive, about the vampirism of white supremacy, about what people give up to integrate into whiteness, about the gifts of the ancestors who held onto their magic, is the perfect film to watch right now. It is full of hope and possibility ✊🏽

What a fabulous thread. I also feel seen since I say "all hat no cattle" a lot.
The best way of describing someone who’s all talk and no action that I’ve ever heard in the UK, by far, is “they’re all wardrobe and no Narnia.”

I'm going to keep talking up Tyrant Lizard Queen because I want the book to hit big in October.

It's got the latest T. rex science, of course, but also an enemies-to-lovers arc for our protagonist Snaggletooth and a rival rex. You've never read a dinosaur book quite like this one. 🦖
