The Court’s guiding principle now seems to be that when the Trump administration’s conduct is so glaringly & indisputably unconstitutional that even this shameless majority can’t bless it, they will at least find procedural excuses to enable the illegal policy for as long as possible.

This is obviously ridiculous but it is kind of bleakly funny that this advice more or less has the same beats as advice about what to do if you encounter a bear in the woods, just in terms of the unknowability of the other party. "Make yourself appear larger and the cop will usually run away."
The article reads like a parody. Is this a joke? Have I been had?
