It's a fun little piece of anti-colonial wish-fulfillment that unfortunately steals the basic plot of Dances With Wolves but at least does it better.

It was awesome! Except for the part where the local "it's just a little snow, no problem"-mindset got so strong that the only time we got snow days was when it fully knocked the power out.

Anyway, despite its rancid origins, I've really come to love Thanksgiving bc it's not super commercial and I love the idea of taking a second to live in the moment, watch some sports & cook a big meal for people I love. Love my friends & family, hate colonial genocide.

It's a smaller menu than I had growing up but our kitchen isn't huge and it's only five people so we just make more of west we really love so there's a bunch of leftovers.
