Made a pilgrimage to the @debsmuseum.bsky.social in Terra Haute yesterday and boy was it worth the drive. The curator abs guide, Allison was a font of knowledge. We got the 90 min tour age easily could have listened to her talk about Gene and his times for twice that. A true hearth of comradeship.

Really wish outlets would stop giving illegally partisan government messaging like this a platform. You could just say "we received an automated message due to the government shutdown." Or even "we received a message violating the Hatch Act in response to our inquiry" if you're feeling honest.

I think we all understand that the root of the problem is the raids themselves, which Ellis admits that she has no power to stop. Along with decades of a culture of law enforcement impunity to the laws they supposedly uphold.
