I just read that trump claimed
82% of Ukrainians demand a peace settlement.

No.
That’s a lie.
A Ukrainian is speaking.

Instead of kissing Trump's feet European leaders should speak out against him. Treating Trump the way they do now is a form of failing appeasement and dishonest to European citizens who might take the bowing and flattering seriously. Better to prepare the public for the ice cold truth, we are alone.

Being European is a great source of pride for me. Europe has a fantastic mix of cultures and a breathtaking geography. We have a history that beats anything else in the world. From Iceland in the north west to Mariupol in the south east we are all Europeans, and we shall defend our great continent.

1 continent but 2 different realities.

While passenger planes cross the skies over Europe, Ukraine’s skies are filled with russian missiles and drones.

Your skies bring families together or take you to vacation, death falls on us from our skies.

The war will end when Russia stops fighting. Therefore, pressure has to be put on Russia, so that they stop believing that they will win. Why is that so hard to understand?

It is hard for me to understand how anyone is the least bit surprised to learn that the Trump administration is working hand in hand with Moscow. The Trump-Putin partnership has been obvious from the outset.

The sad thing is Europe should not be scrambling. The situation has been well telegraphed since trump won the election. we have had plenty of time to plan for it. Anyone believing the nonsense of trump pivoting away from Putin has been living in magic unicorn land watching the pretty butterflies.
🇪🇺🇬🇧🇺🇦 Europe is scrambling to buy Ukraine more time after the US set a hard deadline for Kyiv to accept a controversial peace plan, - Bloomberg

Leaders in France, Germany, and across the EU are urgently coordinating to rewrite large parts of the proposal without openly defying Washington.

I expect to be reposting this every three months or so until the end of the Trump administration.
The more that members of the Trump administration talk, the more it sounds as if Plan A to stop the war was to coerce Ukraine into capitulation and Plan B was to keep repeating Plan A until it worked. When it became apparent that wasn't going to happen, they were out of ideas.

I can’t speak for others,
but the current situation in Ukraine (severe attacks, almost no power)
won’t break me or make me accept
any ridiculous ‘peace’ (capitulation) deal.

Yes, I’m not a decision-maker.
Just saying.

I know Trump is Trump. I know he says things that are bizarre and untrue.

But reading about the “Zelenskyy's war” again isn’t just upsetting, it’s infuriating. People here die every day In a war russia started and continues, yet somehow it’s blamed on us. It’s tragic.

Responding to America’s call, Ukraine sent more than 5,000 troops to Iraq — the third-largest Coalition contingent. Eighteen Ukrainian soldiers never came home.

They wore our flag in a distant war because allies asked, and because freedom’s defense doesn’t stop at borders.👇

Worth noticing that Ukraine defended itself far better than NATO and against a much more extensive Russian attack at the same time. If we want to be safe we have to help and learn from the Ukrainians.

How you can discuss peace with those who does things like that ? Who throw bombs on elderly for no reason ?

Trump is trying to broker a peace deal with the leader and the country that wants to keep the war going.

Instead of applying pressure, he offered handshakes.

It’s unworkable by design. And Ukrainians pay in blood to buy Trump time to grasp that.
