Half the battle with this guy is just reiterating government can and already does good things that are so ubiquitous they’ve become invisible. He’s able to remind you in a way that you understand that good government can exist outside of a 24/7 vengeance operation, and in NYC already does.
Stay warm, stay safe New York.

Awww, it's just freedom . . . brought to you by the people who love love love children--well, when they're not allowing them to get shot in school, hitting them w tear gas in their car, poking out their eyes, or trafficking them.

@houserepublicans.bsky.social know all about that "freedom"!

My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

Just a random reminder that trickle-down economics was invented by conservatives in the 1980s to justify massive tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations. It’s been nothing short of a disaster.

THIS THIS THIS. They hate women and they hate women in the workforce.
Trump’s policies have made it nearly impossible for mothers to stay in federal jobs: mass layoffs, forced relocations, overnight travel, and rigid schedules that upend child care and family life.

It’s a coordinated effort to push moms out.
Being a mom in the federal government wasn’t easy. Trump made it “impossible.”
The Handbasket spoke to several moms about the series of painful choices they've had to make since January.

It's wild when you think about it: D.C. had a balanced budget, the House went ahead and unbalanced it to the tune of $1.1 billion, the Senate fixed it, the House sat on the fix, and now D.C. may have to make cuts to programs and staff to address a problem not of its own making.
