I once correctly diagnosed retinoblastoma in my best friend’s son.
Was looking at their vacation photos on Facebook and realized the red eye effect was wrong in a way I’d read about years before.
A message from me lead to him getting his eye out a week later.

Last time I updated my resume I used some $ service to make it work with ATS and make it easy to update etc. Frankly it was still a pain in the ass.
I threw together with Claude a much better resume with variations with vite react and good tooling in about an hour.

Modern LLMs (GPT-5.1, Claude 4.5, Gemini 3) produce excellent code and can be a significant productivity boost to software engineers who take the time to learn how to effectively apply them - especially if used with coding agent tools

Really pains folks that AI can be an accelerator while not being the finished product. That’s the entirety of LLM augmented coding which is practiced by 80%+ of developers.
Don’t shame folks for wanting to work less.

Tourists are an interesting group in that they consistently deny what we all know they are. I can’t think of anything that screams tourist more than reducing each experience down to charm bracelet size and wearing it around. If tourism is your thing, just embrace it!

it’s very strange to claim that all of society secretly hates AI when
a) about half of Americans are more or equally excited than concerned about AI.

This is, unfortunately correct. Pies are kinda nostalgic at best. Cheesecake is life.
I get a lot of hate for this view and in turn I'd only ask if you've ever had a pie as good as a typical cheesecake. The answer is no, you have not. Cheesecake invalidates the whole pie category. Hell, regular cake barely survives the cheesecake onslaught on the strength of carrot cake alone.
The dirty secret of pies is that they have the lowest ceiling potential of all sweets. Your best pie is merely fine. Your median pie is bad.
