Personally I’d suggest anyone start in Typescript because you can do just about anything (frontend and backend) with that. Or Python (backend).

C++ is great learning but you’d be right not to build with it (as someone who did professionally for years).

Also I feel like open source is to some extent “more novel” and I don’t find LLM coding to be hugely beneficial to my own open source libraries.
