Clayton Ramsey grades student assignments and gets papers that are just obviously ChatGPT output. I think any of us can spot it by now: awkward repetitive prose, heavy on bullet points with bold intro words, wordy, etc. There is nothing to be done about it. As an instructor, I am always saddened to read this. The ChatGPT rhetorical style is distinctive enough that I can catch it, but not so distinctive to be worth passing along to an honor council.

The journalistic malpractice in this country is crazy.

They understand their new role perfectly fine. It’s the American people (well, journalists) that do not appear to have shifted their mindset.

They’re doing exactly what they were hired to do.
"The current leadership of the DOJ are all people who worked as Trump’s personal attorneys, and it does not appear that they have made the shift in mindset to their new role, which is serving the American people...And that is very concerning." www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

We have spent far too much time talking about how we should navigate an economy/job market/creative industry flooded with AI, and not nearly enough time talking about why we should be pushing back against it, and not just for IP theft reasons.

It's also worth noting that this is what people have chosen *instead* of revolution. Inequality is at an all time high. But instead of radicalizing people towards equity, we have a bunch of individuals telling themselves if they can just screw other people *harder" that'll help them get ahead.

I owe an apology to all James Bond movies. I mocked them for having completely unrealistic, cartoonish villains that simply weren't believable.

2025 has made it impossible to levy that criticism anymore.

THIS IS A NAZI SALUTE.

BASTA.
Steve Bannon whipped up the CPAC crowd by talking about the possibility of Trump staying in office for a third term—and concluded his speech by giving a provocative gesture that resembled the controversial salute Elon Musk gave at a post-inauguration rally last month.
