Another threat from US Ambassador Pete Hoekstra, who is absolutely loathed in Canada. The fact is Canada is not safe because we're in NORAD, we are safe because we haven't pissed off the entire world.

I think to many Canadians, foreign interference in the separation agenda has been quite evident. I'm not certain that attempting to counter their bad-faith misinformation is our best option. I think a Canadian campaign of picking off Maine or Washington might be the better option.

After wracking my brains, I have come up with a slogan for Britain's middle power opportunity: "Take back control."
