Good morning #MetsSky. For those who had the audacity to sleep during my comedy act at 4am ... good for you! I made arrangements yesterday for aspiration & cortisone injection on 12/3. Pain relief is coming. Good thoughts for Ed today who has his cast swapped out for a brace. Y'all have a good one.
During these bouts of insomnia, i just lay here quietly, gaze at the stars and wonder what the hell happened to my roof.

Good morning #MetsSky. My earlier post below refers this article about MLB.TV becoming part of the ESPN's app. On the surface, it sucks for guys like me who love our teams & continue to shell out cash to see them. This can't be good for pure baseball fans.

Howdy #MetsSky. Has decent night! Woke few times to visit to porcelain library then back to sleep. Pain not major. Could be combo of timing Tylenol, that capsaicin-laced chili & a Tommie Copper compression band after ice packs most of day. Mixed 2 flavors: Chocolate Raspberry Truffle & French Toast!

Going to experiment with another potential pain remedy today. Capsaicin is alleged to have pain management properties & I have a bunch of hot peppers that we grew this summer. Therefore, time for me to make a vat of chili! Got all the ingredients so maybe I'll go play in the kitchen for a while.

Didn't see random #Mets player from @pauladonovan.bsky.social today so I'll just pick one. Harry Chiti was traded from the Indians to the Mets in '62 for a player to be named later. The Mets completed the trade a few months later, sending Chiti to the Indians. First player ever traded for himself.
