Progress: Delivered holiday cards to neighbors around community with whom we exchange cards. Took an hour. Great news - I walked entire route with only minor knee pain, not uncommon for two weeks after a cortisone shot. I'll be ready 1/1/26 to hit the roads my way! Thinking about goal for year.

Good morning #MetsSky. Have what should be simple decision to make in next day or two. Cell battery in 2021 4G phone won't hold a charge. Replace the battery or buy new 2025 5G phone for probably $75 more. I almost never use it for calls, but thinking new. Hope everyone has a terrific day today.

Not quite good morning #MetsSky. The cortisone flare continues. For me, this is a normal side effect, a rite of passage between pain/swelling & osteoarthritis relief. It's a temporary ride. Now just have to hope that the cortisone is effective for a while. Too early for ☕ ... But soon! 😂

He has a very high ceiling & was lights out in the minors. Can't judge him by five games where he was rushed to majors. Years of control: Ryan 2, Tong 5!

I like it in theory but [1] I'd like to see how Vientos performs with new hitting & defense coaches but if he goes, he goes. [2] NOT trading Tong! He has a very high ceiling & was lights out in the minors. Can't judge him by five games where he was rushed to majors. Years of control: Ryan 2, Tong 5!

Well damn. Spoke too fast. Chills have arrived, face is flushed and injection site hurts despite icing all day. The cortisone flare had started. Will probably head for bed pretty early tonight, like right after dinner. Under the covers seems inviting right now. Not a big deal. This too shall pass.

I decided to take a shot after this goofy reply. I seem to remember that the Cohen's did not have good experiences on that other app. So hoping it finds it's way through channels, I wrote to Alex Cohen, describing #MetsSky & how we interact, and invited her to come check us out. You never know!
It is very disappointing. I'm not sure what else there is to do. We already have the greatest Mets fans, good starter packs, our own #MetsSky feed, the resource page and the new MetsSky.com. What's next? A MetsSky podcast? MetsSky: The Broadway Musical? MetsSky II: The Wrath of Cohen?
