Well, on this first day of a new year I brunched with my family and dear friends while watching birds at their feeder as snow wafted, after which I took a nap while dinner cooked and then watched Sinners with my mom and the kids. 16 yo now on the phone with friends exclaiming how good it was.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
