Macclesfield Central (Cheshire East) Council By-Election Result:

🌍 GRN: 41.8% (+19.7)
🌹 LAB: 28.6% (-25.7)
➡️ RFM: 15.8% (New)
🌳 CON: 9.1% (-4.5)
⚖️ EQU: 2.5% (New)
🔶 LDM: 2.2% (-7.7)

The Guardian are reporting a significant increase in Jewish people voting for the Green Party.

It's almost like many of us grew up learning a history of persecution & violence.

We don't oppose the Genocide in spite of being Jewish but because of it.

Never again for everyone.

Zack is the very opposite of the "big I am". It's rare to find a politician so keen to engage, to learn and to question themselves.
He won a landslide leadership election victory because we party members know how much he genuinely cares about us, our work and our mission.
Contrary to Harriet Harmen's characterisation of @zackpolanski.bsky.social as a "big I am", of all the political figures I've observed in any detail he is easily the most collaborative and the one who uses his platform to lift other voices and to listen to people way more than anyone else I've seen.
