today i learned sonic mania's little-brother-coop is somehow significantly worse than the classic games
you have to press a button on p2's controller to gain control of tails/knuckles, and this has no visible effect and thus no feedback.
And you have to do this every time he respawns.

my demented take of the night is that chili is just a western curry

In Spore (2008), a couple of the starting herbivore cells the player can get have their eyes aligned vertically, which gives them functionally a redundant extra part to sell for 5 DNA.
This is basically useless in casual play because 5 DNA isn't enough to afford any extra parts.
