Extra German (Extra auf Deutsch) was a 2002 show similar to friends used to teach German language. It has 30 episodes.

The same storylines and characters are repeated for Extra French, Extra Spanish, and Extra English.

Warning: It's kind of corny.

And here is Extra Spanish (Extr@ en Español).

Extra Spanish, Extra French, and Extra German all have 13 identical episodes, but character names match the locale. Extra English has 30 episodes.

All the versions have a strong early 2000's (Friends) aesthetic and cute little dog.

Finally watched del Toro’s #Frankenstein and as someone who really loved the actual book..

and finds the life Mary Shelley fascinating… (because it actually informs the book) I quite liked it!

It was a beautiful homage to the book and the 1930s Frankenstein films that started it all

Some news: tomorrow at 9am, Ted Koppel + CBS Sunday Morning will air a two-part story on the devastating surge of full-time workers being pushed into homelessness.

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

First off, Pan's Labyrinth is FANTASTIC!! And the 2hr director's commentary is so worth it. Need to see del Toro's notebooks, though. 📒🖊

Second, just now finding about all these pasta dishes: espagueti rojo, sopa seca de fideo (Mexico), fideuà (Spain)... wth going on??

Freaking deliciousness.

In the heatswamps of central Florida in the middle of the last century, more than two dozen Black painters flourished, their electric palm-laced sunsets and stormy surfside scenes capturing a moment, and locale, uniquely their own.

Very lavish, orchestral, with jazz elements in my view. Before he fled to France, Dédé and Black composers & musicians of his time in New Orleans, were creating the seeds, or infrastructure for jazz to come about, so makes sense. The opera struck me as very modern & the story was somewhat feminist!
