Je connais trois femmes trans qui sont passées à l'hôpital ces derniers jours, pour trois raisons n'ayant aucun rapport avec leur hormonothérapie, et elles ont toutes les trois reçu un cours sur les "risques des hormones" par un médecin pas formé.

Dans le cas le plus grave, on est intervenus.

Reddit Screen Transphobes took the person I loved from me I don’t even know why I’m writing this here. I’ve already written everywhere I could, but I still can’t find any peace. I'm 19 and from Russia. Over six months ago, I met a wonderful transgender girl from Germany. She was 27, and we quickly became best friends. We talked a lot, and we had so much in common: video games like Infinity Nikki and Valorant, jirai kei makeup, Japanese street fashion, and just an overall obsession with Japan. Eventually, I fell in love with her, and she loved me back. When I confessed, she said she loved me too, but added that it was a shame we could never be together. I didn't understand what she meant, because in two or three months I'm supposed to move to Europe permanently. Now I'm waiting for a French visa and really wanted us to be together so I could visit her in Munich. Last night she sent me a goodbye message and ended her life. She’s gone forever. She had very difficult relationships with almost everyone, and a very deep, severe depression. She was on antidepressants. She told me I was the only person who made her feel any joy and gave her a reason to keep going. I've been crying all morning. I work remotely from home, but I'm sitting at the computer like a vegetable. I don't even have an appetite. I'm disgusted by everything. All my interests boil down to "we did this together and we had such a great time." I can't even open a game without crying. I don't know what to do.

One of the things I hear with some younger trans people I know is they feel, "I'm gonna get this surgery, and I'm gonna learn that way of speaking, and I'm gonna be done." You're never done. If you're a straight, cisgender person, you're never done. Things are always happening that have the potential to change you. So all I am today is not who I'm gonna be tomorrow, because of the things that happened to me today and later tonight. People forget that. "Oh, after I transition, I'm gonna be through." Well, good luck with that. 'Cause if you're through, then it's time to leave, you know, and I don't wanna go anywhere yet. I'm in my seventies. Why didn't I stop? Number one is community. My gurls. I've had moments of thinking about stopping, but I didn't. I made sure I would step back, reju- venate myself, and then got back out there, and that's how you make a way. Our stories are not all the same, but the destination is: to get some place where we have some peace and harmony, and we can be at ease with ourselves and the people around us. You make the best of it all and hope you can help make it a little better for the gurl after you.
