I spoke to the Secretary-General of NATO, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Giorgia Meloni.

Together we stand firm in our commitment to uphold the sovereignty of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

it's the corruption, stupid. Dems? corrupt. Republicans? corrupt.
One thing I'll never understand, even assuming extreme ignorance among low-info voters, is millions of people voting for a return of the President constantly causing crises.

People really decided, "I don't mind if things are worse so long as I'm entertained by this guy burning everything down?"
We now have a full-blown European-American crisis, and for no reason that the president is able to articulate

Citizens United was one of the first things I talked about on the campaign trail. It was the reason I ran for office.

Almost a decade later, I’m still fighting for a democracy that fairly represents all Americans.

Somali Minnesotans are resilient.

We will not let Trump or ICE intimidate us. Our neighbors have our back.

While ICE will eventually leave our beautiful city, we will be here continuing to love and support one another.

When you succumb to the cynicism, you are helping Trump. He wants you to think that all is lost, that he is all powerful, and that there is nothing we can do.

The fight for democracy is hard, but it is worth having. We have shown we can stand tall. We have shown we can win.
Many of you have become drama-addicted doomers, and you seem to think it's important for the rest of us to join you.

Yes, things are bad. But change is within our power. Grow up. Act like sober, responsible adults in a democracy instead of cynical, all-is-lost teenagers.

Now get off my lawn.

Coming out swinging against ICE, *obviously* becoming the president's personal goons, might lose votes from white people who can't see past "back the blue." Yep - we have a terrified electorate.

People crave agency. Show some spine, run on values. Give people a sense of control that way!

this is it. so good.
The surprise invasion of Venezuela isn't imperial expansion driven by the dictates of capitalism; it is somehow even sicker. The Trump administration is behaving like gambling addicts chasing clout in an attention economy. Venezuela is a fucking meme stock. www.theverge.com/policy/85807...

a universal truth, not yet universally acknowledged, is that everything Trump touches turns to trash. see the east wing for example.

Welcome to 2026.

We’re finishing what we started in 2025: building a working-class movement and sending a couple of establishment politicians into retirement.

Let’s get to work.

"the last decade"
lol.
The unique threat of the last decade has been the emergence of a political movement which wants to operate outside of passing bills and governing through regular order.

people who talk about h1-b visas without talking about Silicon Valley's abuse of ethnic networks is dishonest. Are Indians and Pakistanis uniquely qualified to work in tech? nah, those are ethnic networks.
This NYT story failed the reader by not digging deeper. One subject dropped out of college after one year (five years ago) and lists "Windows" as his skillset. Story should be: young conservatives who blame immigrants for their personal failures and whose lives won't be improved w/ fewer immigrants

don't like the irrational blame the immigrant discourse? cool, let's blame bitter Americans for their 100k in student loan debt, and the complete lack of real opportunities without a degree while h1-b's are "educated" in Pakistan or India on the cheep and then utilize an ethnic network for work.

Congratulations to the people of Chandler, AZ, who — despite a fierce lobbying campaign — defeated a massive AI data center that would have raised utility bills and drained scarce water.

Oligarchs want working Americans to foot the bill while they profit. Not gonna happen!

I think you mean innovation built on exploitation and surveillance.
California is the world’s AI powerhouse.

We’re redefining what’s possible with innovation built on purpose and safety.

The future happens here, first.

this is concern trolling.
Almost all of them switched decades ago or longer. Tell me how we are going to move from where we are today , to where you want to go ?

Saying you want it is easy. All I'm asking is how are we going to get there ?

If Bernie's M4A passed under Biden, RFK jr would be running M4A today.
Every other country does it, Mark. It's not some vague thought experiment.

Lots of ways it can be imperfect, of course, but it fundamentally gives everyone access to healthcare without fear of bankruptcy.

mark, we are trying to help you. if you guys don't get with the program and stop standing in the way of the idea that government should do things for regular people, your risk is not going to be higher taxes on your income, it's going to be seizure of your assets

The battleship is turning. This should encourage me, but I'm confident that the alternative to corrupt reactionary Trumpism is corrupt slightly less reactionary neoliberalism or Clintonism. The democrat party is the problem because the donor and consultancy class is determined to keep their bag.
