While I think most literate people can be insightful and articulate in text form, if given enough time to collect their thoughts, it is a rare talent to be able to do that verbally, in real time, while responding to interruptions, hostile jibes or pointed questions and STILL get your point across.

The tories have a cheek even discussing people on benefits, including those on sickness benefits, because it was thatcher who when she saw unemployment rising because of her policies, instructed that people be moved onto sickness benefits, so it didn't look like unemployment was rising.

The lack of self awareness of Americans is staggering, what do they think their forefathers did, to the indigenous people of America.
I guess the US travel ban will have to include the U.K. then, given it was immigrants from here who flooded the US, killed the inhabitants there and leeched off their land and resources.
